Heart and Soul

Hello again friends! Although Mother's Day has passed, our blog challenge is to celebrate the important women in our lives all month long!

To honor the most important woman in my life, I created a layout of my mom. She's the strongest woman I know, wholeheartedly and selflessly dedicated to her children. And look at her, not an ounce of make-up and she still looks gorgeous!

I used the neutral tones in the gorgeous French Kiss collection and layered flowers and other embellishments to complement her photo. Here's a closer look...

For my next layout, I played with Happy Travels. I really love the brown and teal hues in this collection! I'm lucky to have gotten this shot of my son sitting in our backyard. He's three years old and at the moment, the minute he sees me holding a camera, he runs away!!!
