Where did summer go?

It's hard to believe summer is gone! Emily starts school in a couple of days and we are both so excited! Last few days of summer are always very hectic for us so I just have a quick share today. It felt really good to get a chance to create something after such a long break!

We have this rope swing hanging from a big tree on our backyard and Emily just loves it! I used some Bo Bunny papers that went really well with the color of her dress.

Good luch to all of you with this new school year!

Exciting News!!!

I'm so excited to join the Guest Design Team at Flamingo Scraps!

I first learned about Flamingo Scraps while watching Marion Smith's classes on Ustream. They carry all of her Prima kits (not to mention all Prima goodies you could ever wish for! ). I then fell in love with their amazing selection of products! I'm talking the latest Maya Road, 7Gypsies, Webster's Pages, Graphic 45 and soooo much more! (Check out my favorite laces and trims - Cheep Trims - Gorgeous!)

I'm so honored to be joining an amazing talented group of ladies:

Please check out the Flamingo Scraps Blog for ideas and inspiration and get your shopping on at their ebay store, brand new CHA items are in already!

Greetings From Abroad!

I'm currently not home, but since I have my computer with me, I figured I'd post pictures of some projects I created before I left. These were all done using Bo Bunny supplies, I just love their papers and embellies!

Just Me and My Dad

I misted the burlap here with Wheatfields Glimmer Mist to give it a richer color and shimmery texture. To add dimension to the title sticker, I added Glossy Accents to 'me' and 'dad'; that really made a difference. I also made a little tear on the paper and stapled it to add to the rugged feel!

To create these custom buttons, I just covered a few clear buttons with Glossy Accents and adhered them to patterern paper.

I also gave cards a try for the first time. These were very quick to make! For this one, I folded the paper and cut half a circle with my Coluzzle. I then used my shaped scizzors to add the wavy border.

For this other one, I layered some paper and placed the cardstock flower on dimensionals. I also cut up the black swirl to work with my design.

Take care guys! And thanks for stopping by!!!
